Whiston Pre-School Committee

THE PRE-SCHOOL COMMITTEE

Our committee is the supporting group behind the staff team and children of Whiston Pre-School. The committee meets twice yearly as a whole group and then in 2 working groups for a further 2 meetings in the year.

New Committee Members

We are always looking for new members to join our committee.

If you think you have a little time to spend and some skills or knowledge to offer we would love to hear from you.
EY2 registration and DBS check is required.

The working groups

Fundraising

The first working group plans fundraising activities and events both in the pre-school and the community.

Infrastructure
The second groups looks at the maintenance and running of the pre-school to ensure the school runs well and satisfies the learning, safety, social and emotional needs of the children and staff.

A word from the Chair..

As the committee working with the pre-school charity, we help with fundraising ideas and activities to enable the maintenance of the school and work towards new ideas for ICT, and equipment for inside and outside spaces. If you have a skill you can share or are interested in volunteering to help your community please enquire about joining the Whiston Pre-School Committee.

Being a committee member is both a fulfilling and essential role for the school and local community. It is a commitment of time to attend meetings and possibly use your skills in one of the working groups to support the school through volunteering, or general maintenance or with fundraising ideas or activities.
